The Missing Mozaic

Months in gestation,The Mozaic Beach Club is now open for business on Batubelig beach in Seminyak, Bali. 

The fruit of the creative imagination of Bali’s culinary genius, Chef Chris Sales, this newest addition to the Mozaic Group, in keeping with its elegant beachside setting is ideal for drinks and poolside chill-out tapas, lunch on the deck or evenings of fine dining below the swaying tropical palms.

A large deck and poolside bar and lounge within walking distance of the W Retreat and Spa, the Mozaic Beach Club joins a growing list of chic, uber-hip dining and entertainment venues along Bali’s sunset coast.

Like the Ubud Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique, the new beachside Club incorporates Chris Salan’s culinary genius and savoir faire, combining great service and a team of unrivalled culinary expertise acquired over years of “the boss’s” careful tutelage. Whether in search of a relaxed day of poolside tapas, a lunch on the deck or refined evening dining – Mozaic’sattention to detail, great food and professional service shine through in every instance.

Teaming with Chef Chris Salans in realizing the culinary vision of the Mozaic Beach Club is Chef James Ephraim. A native of England where he trained in the kitchens of the prestigious Grosvenor Hotel, Chef Ephraim eventually left his homeland honing his cooking skills in the South Pacific and Australia. 

Embracing the philosophy of Chef Chris Salans in the use of Bali’s freshest ingredients, Chef Ephraim has played a central role in creating the Mozaicmodern Balinese Cuisine presented at the famed Ubud Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique for the past four years.

For this new venture, Lotus Arts de Vivre joins the Salan and Ephraim in the design of the private dining room on the dining floor of the Mozaic Beach Club. Lotus Arts de Vivre and the von Bueren family, creators of the successful brand, live together in a cluster of traditional houses in a lush compound nestled in the heart of Bangkok. Their love affair with Bali and its crafts dates from years and Lotus Arts de Vivre brings the sensibility of its Asian fusion to the boutique at the Mozaic Beach Club, to the private dining room and to the dining room.
