Podomoro Group Building Two Hotels in Bali

Bali Hotels Part of a Six Hotel Development Across Indonesia by Publicly Listed Podomoro Group

Jakarta Globe confirmed that the large Indonesian publicly listed property group Agung Podomoro Land is moving ahead to invest Rp. 3 trillion (US$313 million) to establish six hotels in Java and Bali.

The six hotels will be comprised of two hotels each in Jakarta, Bogor (West Java) and Bali.

The Bali properties will include a five-star resort on 7.8 hectares at Nusa Dua operated by JW Marriott Resorts and Spa with an estimated cost of Rp. 800 billion to Rp. 1 trillion.

Also in Bali, the Podomoro Group is planning to open a four-star property near Seminyak on a 4.5-hectare site at a cost of Rp. 800 billion.

B&B Hotels and Ibis Hotels will run the two Jakarta hotels. The Bogor properties will be run by B&B and Pullman Hotels.
